Also called the Rainbow Nation, South Africa got this name from its fascinating natural & cultural diversity. But it was also born from the desire to reconnect people and bring peace to the country after the Apartheid era.

Thanks to this incredible variety of landscapes and its large ethnic panel, South Africa offers an unlimited choice of experiences, activities and encounters depending on where in the country you travel to.

Many wonderful treasures and surprises await you: from the dramatic mountain ranges du Drakensberg and rock formations of the desertic Cederberg area, to the wide flowering fields of Namaqualand, the wild beaches of Transkei “the Wild Coast” and those of the Kwazulu-Natal in the pristine Isimangaliso Wetland UNESCOs heritage site, the lush-green oasis of the Garden Route, the beautiful Cape Town and its winelands, the endless rocky plains of the Karoo as well as many historical & geological sites rich of the traces of the past. And of course, the beautiful South African people with their exciting vibrant personalities and their world-famous hospitality. With its many mesmerizing landscapes, a captivating wildlife and marine life, South Africa boasts such natural beauty that one could travel in every direction and always see something new. From North to South and East to West, areas change and evolve with the seasons to offer you different experiences. Indeed, because of its large territory, there are multiple seasons across the country all year round. The North is rainy in summer (November to February) while the South of the country has a blistering hot summer; in winter (June to August) the weather works in reverse some rain and cold temperatures in the South and warmer days in the North of the country.

This makes for wonderful combo trips in the mid season where you can follow the sun and travel to both North and South for a complete experience!
In a same area you can enjoy different experiences depending on the season. This allows for particularly rich game drives. In the summer season, the dry and open bush makes it easier to spot game and allows for more predictable wildlife patterns (with animals gathering at the few waterholes available); While after the rainy season, the bush is full of beautiful lush and green trees and grass, making animals harder to see, but all the more worth it if you can spot one of the many newborns!
